Hands On! Children’s Museum — Hendersonville, NC (Near Asheville, NC)

This past weekend, Jackson had a lacrosse tournament in Asheville, NC. Abram stayed with the grandparents, so while Adam and Jackson went to the gym and an arcade, I decided to take the 30 minute trip from Asheville to Hendersonville to take Ellie to the Hands On! Children’s Museum. Because our other two kids are older, Ellie often ends up being pushed around in a stroller for big kid activities during most of our vacations. The Hands On! Children’s Museum was a perfect outlet for her to explore and get out some of her energy!

One Week in Corolla, NC

Last summer, we had the pleasure of spending one week in Corolla, NC. I have lived in NC all my life, but I had yet to explore the northern Outer Banks. Vacationing in Corolla was an adventure to say the least!

One Night at Great Wolf Lodge

My older kids (13 and 11) have always LOVED Great Wolf Lodge, so for Abram’s 11th birthday, he requested another visit. We hadn’t been since before Covid, and I was a little nervous that the two boys would be too old to enjoy everything. Wrong! They had a great time, and their 2-year-old sister and 6-year-old twin cousins did, too. There is so much that you can do with one night at Great Wolf Lodge!
