I love doing seasonal activities with Ellie, and she had so much fun trying these 4th of July toddler activities!
I don’t know about you, but any time we try something new around here, we end up with some major wins and some major disasters. I’ll be sharing both here so that you can avoid some of the pitfalls that we experienced. (Plus, some “nailed it” moments are pretty funny!)
This past weekend, Jackson had a lacrosse tournament in Asheville, NC. Abram stayed with the grandparents, so while Adam and Jackson went to the gym and an arcade, I decided to take the 30 minute trip from Asheville to Hendersonville to take Ellie to the Hands On! Children’s Museum. Because our other two kids are older, Ellie often ends up being pushed around in a stroller for big kid activities during most of our vacations. The Hands On! Children’s Museum was a perfect outlet for her to explore and get out some of her energy!

This past fall during our week-long Orlando vacation, my husband and I decided to take one day where the kids went in different directions. Adam took the boys to a go-cart racetrack, and I took Ellie to Epcot. Before going, I wasn’t sure if she would like it because she was so small (a year and a half at the time), but it was free for her, so I took the chance. It ended up being my absolute favorite day of vacation and one of my favorite days with Ellie ever. There was so much to keep her attention, even as a toddler.
